Every college has something to make them unique. At Dean, they offer academic support to every student on campus! They also just built a new dining center and a new theater for us students to take advantage of. What I personally like best about Dean is that it has a train station less then five minutes away from campus. Having a lot of friends that go to school in the city, the station in Franklin is very helpful for me to leave school for the weekend and get to venture off to Boston. With only a two-way fair of $14, it is the perfect way to escape for just a few days. The commuter rail brings us students right into South Station and from there you can pick up either the Red line or the Silver line to get you where you need to be! If the Red or Silver line do not apply to your destination, Back Bay is a stop where you can pick up the Orange line. I take the Orange line every time I need to go home, it brings me right to my town on the North Shore. It is funny because as I write this, I am sitting on the train coming back from an amazing weekend in Boston that I spent with my friends who live out there.
